THE JOURNEY

A Journey of Faith & Service

From a personal encounter with Christ to decades of worship, leadership, pastoral ministry, and church planting, Pastor Gilbert's journey reflects God's faithfulness through every season.

Pastor Gilbert's journey with Christ began on Pentecost Sunday in 1999, when he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. In 2002, his experience of the baptism of the Holy Spirit deepened his life of prayer, worship, spiritual growth, and service.

Much of his ministry formation took place at Bethel AG Church in Dhaka, Bangladesh, where he served faithfully for many years. His ministry included more than 20 years in Worship Ministry, more than 8 years in Youth Ministry leadership, and service on the Church Deacon Board. Through worship, discipleship, leadership, and congregational service, God shaped both his character and his heart for shepherding people.

In 2012, during a Christian conference at FCBC Church in Singapore, Pastor Gilbert sensed a clear call from God to dedicate his life more fully to pastoral ministry. That moment became a defining turning point in a journey that had already been shaped by years of faithful service.

In 2023, Gilbert and Dina Baidya were ordained as Associate Pastors at Cornerstone Assemblies of God in San Bernardino, California. In 2025, another chapter began with the founding of Grace and Praise Bangladeshi Church, with a heart to shepherd families, disciple believers, strengthen the Bengali Christian community, and reach beyond cultural boundaries with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
